Mon’Ami Sweets Policies

At Mon’Ami Sweets, everything is made from scratch with love—and that includes how I run my business. Please review the policies below before placing your order. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

📅 Booking & Payment

Custom orders must be booked at least 7 days in advance. Wedding and event cakes should be booked 4–6 weeks ahead to secure your date.

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your order. Your date is not confirmed until the retainer is received.

Final payment is due 7 days before your pickup/delivery date. Orders not paid in full by the deadline may be canceled.

Please inform me of any allergies or dietary restrictions when booking. After production has begun, substitutions may not be possible, and allergy-related refund requests will not be accepted.

❌ Cancellation & Refunds

All retainers are non-refundable.

If you need to cancel:

  • More than 7 days in advance: A partial refund (minus the retainer) may be available.
  • Less than 7 days: No refund is available due to prep work already in progress.

Refunds will not be issued for completed orders, dissatisfaction based on personal taste, or changes of mind once the product has left my care.

📍 Pickup & Delivery

Pickups are in Melissa, TX. You’ll receive your pickup details once your order is finalized.

Please be on time—late pickups can affect quality, especially in warm weather. If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, a $25 late pickup fee may apply or your order may be considered forfeited.

If you need to reschedule your order date, please notify me at least 7 days in advance—subject to availability. Reschedules less than 7 days before your original date may incur a fee or forfeiture of the retainer.

Delivery is available for tiered cakes and wedding orders within 30 miles for an additional fee. Setup is included for wedding deliveries.

Mon’Ami Sweets is not responsible for damage caused by heat, mishandling, or delayed pickup/delivery once the product leaves the bakery and is in your care.
